The LCD, every pixel there is in liquid crystal molecules which react in a particular way to electric shock. When the molecules are activated, “rotate” allowing it to pass greater or less light to create all of the grayscale. Color is accomplished using colored filters.
PLASMA
The PDPs (Plasma Display Panel, or plasma screens) is a plane viewing device in which the light is created by phosphorus-red, green and blue-aroused by the electric shock. The combustion is caused by a mix of nobles gases, injected into small sealed cells plasma which pass statewhen activated by electrodes.
LEDs
A type of LCD screen lighting, used mainly in mobile telephony and small form factor devices which consists of light emitting diode (LED, by its acronym in English “light-emitting diode”), replacing the traditional ones fluorescent lights, by increasing energy efficiency and extending the life of the back light of the screen.
